What is “Health”?

According to the dictionary; Health is the general condition of a person in all aspects. World Health Organisation defines health as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”.

As we progress in age, the question ” How do we maintain a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being” becomes more and more important. This same questions has many a times made me wonder how our fore fathers never had to worry so much about their health in-spite of limited medical facilities and how did our grand parents lived their lives to the fullest without having the benefit of modern medicine of this age?

Here we are today with the most advance medical science and resources at hand but our health not reflecting the benefits. Why? The answer – Back To Basics!

In my early 50's and going strong; I remember my grandma’s words of wisdom narrated to my mother over and over…

” Don’t under estimate the healing power of fruits and vegetable”,  she repeatedly used to say!

And this is what made me go on a quest to find out the true power of nature’s produce and bring together for the general benefit of my readers a treasure available to all of us – natural fruits & vegetables!

Inspired by the desire to help people achieve a healthier life the ” Natural Way”, I decided to create Healthy Life Recipes. Having scanned numerous websites, books, magazines and medical journals, I eventually managed to find out the benefits of individual fruit and their respective natural healing power when used as natural treatments and remedies, most of which are supported by medical research.

Information on this site has been consolidated from material obtained through various mediums as above. Also included here, you will find some of my  own grandma’s tried and tested natural remedies.
